If you are teaching online this year, in the socially distanced classroom or a combination of both – digital resources are more important than ever.
Some of your students will need a lot of guidance – others can work more independently – that’s why learning how to use Regions of the United States for Google™ Classroom will help you meet the needs of all your learners and save you so much time!
14-Day Lesson Sequence
This resource has a 14-day lesson sequence that includes close reading, text-dependent questions, writing, graphic organizers, interactive vocabulary, and map skills for each region. It gives your students the opportunity to use all those amazing reading skills with Social Studies content in an engaging lesson sequence.
There are also opportunities to use a Venn Diagram to compare two regions, find the main idea and key details, summarize, and write a short essay as a culminating activity. Finally, students will take a unit test in Google Forms, which makes grading so quick and easy for you!
